The efficacy of SanificaAria has been tested by accredited laboratories and at the laboratories of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, which have confirmed its ability to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Studies conducted by the Department of Molecular Medicine at the University of Padua demonstrated the ability, in certain application situations, to reduce the risks of infections caused by infectious agents, including viruses, to approximately zero. Subsequently, Beghelli, with the collaboration of Tecnopolo “Mario Veronesi” - TPM of Mirandola, which carried out the consulting, management and organization of the experimental plan at specially equipped laboratory, activated an investigation with the aim of determining the antiviral activity of the SanificaAria germicidal system with the specific SARS-CoV-2 viral strain responsible for the current pandemic of COVID-19. The tested device demonstrated an average viral load reduction of 2.46 log10 TCID50, corresponding to a 99.66 percent reduction. IMQ, Istituto Italiano Marchio di Qualità, tested the emission of UV-C radiation, verifying the absence of hazardous emissions.
