Ten free training days across the country for industry professionals.

‘The new edition of the CEI 64-8 standard to support the safety and performance of LV electrical installations’ is the title of the 2025 CEI conferences that aim to offer a complete overview of regulatory and technological developments in a general context of the progressive electrification of end uses and the development of digitalisation. An evolution that is reflected in the relevant updates in the new CEI 64-8 standard (ed. 2024) and other related guides.

2025 will be a year full of important regulatory innovations: a focus will be on the innovations introduced for the design of photovoltaic systems in favour of safety and techniques for maintenance, early fault detection and optimisation of energy performance. An in-depth look will be devoted to the CEI 11-27 standard, which deals with safety procedures in electrical work.

The innovations will be presented by lecturers appointed by the IEC:

- Evolution of electrical installations in the residential sector on the threshold of end-use electrification and digitisation;

- The regulated distances of the new fifth edition of the IEC 11-27 standard and arcing;

- Optimisation of operation, maintenance and thermography of photovoltaic systems;

- IEC 64-8:2024: Changes affecting fire safety measures.

In addition, the events will be attended as speakers by representatives of the National Fire Brigade Corps, who will examine the relevant innovations concerning fire risk prevention measures in electrical installations to improve the general fire safety objectives in buildings.

The meetings will be divided into two parts - morning and afternoon - and will allow the recognition of a total of 6 CFP for Engineers and 8 CFP for Industrial Technicians.
