The new lighting systems are controlled through radio devices that can send commands to groups or individual luminaires. The domotic lighting of our devices minimises waste, taking into account the lighting needs at different times of the year, and increases energy savings, which is crucial in buildings with considerable heights. Another aspect that sets our lighting systems apart is the focus on sustainability and environmental impact. It is estimated that the annual consumption of the company's new system can be up to 60.2% lower than the previous solution. In addition, this new generation system has reduced CO2 emissions by more than 1,042 tonnes, an amount equivalent to more than 104,000 trees.
In about 3 years, FBM Hudson Italiana has covered an area of 31,000 m² with our LED lighting systems, 855 are located in the production area and 117 in the outdoor spaces. Depending on the area, different devices were installed: H400CSD LED floodlights with concentrating photometry in the 21-metre high halls, H400SD floodlights with diffusing optics in the 12-metre high buildings, and H400ESD floodlights with elliptical optics in the warehouse aisles. Also installed were P236SD surface-mounted luminaires with specific optics for video terminals and BS100 LED family moisture-proof lamps in the technical and service rooms.
For FBM Hudson Italiana, we carried out the energy audit of the lighting system, complete lighting calculation, cost/benefit analysis, and obtained the Energy Efficiency Certificates, allowing them to benefit from state incentives for energy efficiency measures.
