The existing system was designed with adjustable spotlights recessed/binary with metal halide source (35W, 70W and 150W). Total power absorbed by the plant approximately 23,250W (45W/sqm); The average annual consumption is around 81,840 kWh. The new system was installed using binary adjustable lights and recessed LED luminaires, recovering the powers and the existing tracks in order to significantly reduce the adjustment costs of electrical installation. Total power absorbed by the plant 9,978W (19 W/m²); average annual consumption 35,123 kWh.
The renovation wanted to reduce energy consumption and maintenance to optimize operating costs per year, maintaining the same performance of the existing system. The system could subsequently be integrated with a system that allows you to set specific lighting scenarios.
Programming scenarios allows the subdivision of the system luminaire groups and ranges from simple switching on or off at certain times, the setting of dimmeration designed to carry out particular activities (for example, reduce the illumination during the promotional video projections) or aimed at increasing the level of energy savings while maintaining the safety of the workplace (lowering of power during peak is closed to the public while still providing a minimum illuminance).
